Basic Doctrine
THE BIBLE

We know and hereby make known that the Bible is the infallible Word of God.  The
Bible is not disputed nor is it self-contradictory.  We also know that the Scripture
is of no private interpretation.  The Bible was written by men of old who were
moved on by the Holy Spirit.  All accounts in the Bible are Truth and there is no
pretense, but only reality.  The Bible is immutable.  It does not have the ability to
change; now or in the future.  Search the Scriptures for in them you will find Life.

ONE GOD

We know that there is only one person in the Godhead (Deut. 6:4).  There is no
trinity in the true Christian church.  The doctrine of the trinity was introduced as
official doctrine of the Roman Catholic institution at the Council of Nicea in
325AD.   There are diverse manifestations of the one, omniscient, omnipresent,
omnipotent God, but not three persons.  He is the Father in creation (John 1:1-4),
the Son in redeeming us from our sins (John 1:5-14), and He is the Holy Ghost
that indwells all true believers (Acts 1:5,8).  There was no God before Him and
neither will there be after Him (Isaiah 43:10).  There is no disputing this fact and
no controversy about the Oneness of God (I Timothy 3:16).

SIN

Sin is not only the transgression of the laws and statutes of God, but anything
that displeases God.  Sin started with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and
has touched every life except Jesus since then.  All have sinned and come short
of the Glory of God.  Therefore, all of mankind is in need of redemption from sin.
The wages of sin are death and whoever abides in sin will not participate in the
Kingdom of Heaven

John 1:8, James 1:14-15.

SALVATION

There is no salvation other than in the name of Jesus.  God robed himself in flesh
and lived on earth as an example that we could live a life free from sin.  God is a
Spirit and thus had no blood to sacrifice for our sins.  The Bible says that for
remission of sins there must be shedding of blood.  God made himself a body
and manifested himself IN that body.  That body in the form of Jesus then was
given as the ultimate sacrifice on Calvary so that Jesus’ blood would be offered
for the sacrifice of mankind’s sins.  At the same time the veil in the temple was
rent as a symbol that man no longer had to go to a priest to confess his sins, but
could now go boldly to the throne of God for himself.

Jesus gave Peter the keys of the Kingdom of God.  The Kingdom of God is not
meat and drink, but joy, peace and righteousness in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:
17).  Jesus commanded, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God.”  Peter preached
when the day of Pentecost had fully come that one must repent, be baptized in
the NAME of Jesus for the remission of sins and then one would receive the gift
of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38).  This is the plan of salvation that God gave to Peter
for mankind.

First you must repent, confess your sins to God and with a Godly sorrow turn
from the life of sin.  Confessing your sins is not enough to receive the Holy Ghost,
you must also turn completely from your sin-filled life and walk in the paths of
God.

Secondly, you must be baptized in the name of Jesus.  One must be completely
immersed in water with the command to be given in Jesus name to walk in
newness of life.  To be baptized in the titles is un-biblical and if one is baptized
this way he is not legally baptized, because the name of Jesus has not been
applied to his life.  Baptism remits your sins never to be remembered against you
again.  Baptism by immersion in Jesus name is essential to salvation (Acts 2:38,
John 3:1-5, Romans 6:1-4, .1 Peter 3:20-21).

Thirdly, you must receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  The initial sign of the Holy
Ghost coming into one’s life is the same as was given in the upper room when the
day of Pentecost had fully come (Acts 2:1-4).  Every person that received the Holy
Ghost in the upper room spoke in tongues as the Spirit of God gave utterance.
Speaking in tongues when the Holy Ghost comes is a miracle sign of complete
and total submission to God (James 3:5-8).  Receiving the Holy Ghost is essential
to salvation.  If any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His (Romans 8:
9).

Then you must walk a clean and holy life before God the rest of your days.
